NOW HIRING! Landscaping Crew, Part Time
Planting 4 Paws is looking for a crew member for the 2026 season! This role requires someone who is able to competently install plants and mulch, regularly lift and load materials, use outdoor power tools and be able to work outdoors in the elements.
The ideal crew member will have previous experience working outdoors, an eye for creative outdoor design and be fun to work with – Skills can be taught so personality, work ethic and availability are priority considerations.
Job responsibilities:

Complete spring and fall clean-ups (plant removal, mulching, pruning, etc.)

Remove volunteer plants and dead material to encourage healthy plant growth

Prune tree and hedge overgrowth (from the ground, no ladders)

Trim/edge paths, walls, and flower beds
-
Install pavers, patios, walkways, and other hardscaping
-
Install trees, hedges, flowers, shrubs, and other, primarily native, plants
-
Drive personal vehicle to/from job sites and supplier locations

Load and unload landscaping tools into/from work truck

Interact professionally with clients

Accurately log billable hours using a time tracking app
Qualifications and skills:

18 years or older
-
High school diploma or GED equivalent
-
1–2 years of experience working outdoors preferred

Ability to learn and utiluze the suite of landscaping tools (provided)

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Able to repeatedly lift and move 50+ pounds

Able to sit, stand, kneel, climb, lift during yard cleanups and installs

Strong work ethic and positive attitude – let's have fun!

Be teachable! eager to learn and to follow instructions

Communication and scheduling via phone messaging and calendar apps

Can work independently as needed and as part of a team environment
Working hours:
-
2026 season: 3/1 – 12/1 (flexible)

part-time, average of 20 hrs per week

as needed / weather-dependent, typically 3 days per week between 9am - 3pm
Compensation:
-
$20 – 25 per hour (based on experience)
